The quality problems in the production of high-frequency transformers are also prone to mistakes in the production of high-frequency transformers, transformers are devices that transform AC voltage, current and impedance, when there is AC current in the primary coil, the AC magnetic flux is generated in the iron core (or magnetic core), so that the voltage (or current) is induced in the secondary coil. High-frequency transformer production process is generally divided into; Winding, soldering, assembly, immersion, testing several parts to complete. Common mistakes are as follows.

1. Assembling the magnetic core causes the winding to break down the core and shield

The assembly of the transformer is to install the magnetic core or iron core on the coil wound as required. Seemingly simple, in fact, when the wire package is full, the magnetic core is most likely to scratch the outsourcing tape, causing the enameled wire to expose or touch the magnetic core, and the transformer causes the winding to the core and the shield to break down.

2, containing uneven immersion affect insulation strength, fixed

Ordinary immersion due to insufficient penetration will affect the insulation strength of the high-frequency transformer, fixed, transformer will appear noise and magnetic core loosening phenomenon, seriously affect the quality of the high-frequency transformer. Vacuum immersion can effectively improve the permeability of insulating paint, increase the filling rate, so as to improve the overall mechanical strength of electrical coil, insulation strength and moisture-proof, mildew and other properties.

3, the wrong use of wire causes the resistance of the transformer to increase and heat

The main wire of high-frequency transformer is polyester enameled wire and three-layer insulated wire, if it is very demanding (such as power switch transformer), the use of three-layer insulated wire, if the requirements are general, polyurethane products are no problem! Some specifications of the line diameter is similar, the naked eye can not be identified, the need to use calipers and other measuring instruments. The material issuing process is easy to mistake the wire diameter, the thin wire diameter will lead to the increase of the resistance of the transformer and heat, the thick wire diameter will make the winding proportion of the wire package as a whole larger, due to the limited window of the magnetic core, resulting in the difficult assembly of the magnetic core.

4, solder too deep cause short circuit

The tin furnace temperature is too low, the product is easy to weld, the pin is not bright, the temperature is high to control the soldering time, can not have the phenomenon of solder too deep, due to the high temperature, solder too deep may melt the insulation tape, resulting in short circuit. Welding aid such as agent modulation can get twice the result with half the effort.

5, the test conditions are not correct and the test results are invalid

High-frequency transformers generally require testing items such as turn ratio, inductance, voltage resistance, leakage, etc. Testing is to proactively deal with and prevent, so that there are still bad products when the finished product is sent to the client for testing. Testing is also the key to ensure the quality of high-frequency transformers, so operators are required to be careful and familiar with the debugging of test instruments.
